Data the developer collects

The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not require an account. The developer does not retain personal information, precise or coarse device location, contacts, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, or a history of how you use the app.

Network requests

To service a live request, the app sends the named region you selected to the Unified Flight Thread position service. The service does not store a user identifier, the request IP address, or the selected region in retained application logs. Ordinary connection information is discarded after the request is serviced.

For nearby government context, the app requests public NOAA Aviation Weather Center and FAA NAS Status data. Those services receive ordinary connection information under their own government policies. Unified Flight Thread does not add a user or advertising identifier.

Location

The app does not request device location. Choosing a named aviation region is not a location permission and does not reveal where the device is located.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Followed aircraft identifiers and the selected region are stored only in the app’s local container. The app does not upload a personal flight history. Removing the app removes this local data.

ATC and ACARS

Version 1 does not capture, transcribe, bundle, store, or stream ATC audio and does not publish ACARS messages.

Children and changes

The app is not designed to collect information from children. If a future version changes its data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
